The MegaGRRL portable PCB allows for either 5v or 3.3v power for the LCD module, selected with a jumper.

Most ILI9341 modules have an onboard 3.3v linear regulator and are designed to be run from a 5v source. These boards usually also have two jumper pads that can be bridged to bypass the regulator and apply 3.3v supplied on the VCC pin directly to the LCD. To keep load on the 5v rail low, it is recommended to bridge these pads and configure the main MegaGRRL board to supply 3.3v power to the LCD pin header.

All other lines on the LCD module, aside from VCC and LED, are always at 3.3v logic levels. |
